Terms & Conditions
Stratus Global Alliance, Inc.
Effective date: January 28, 2026
These Membership Terms and Conditions (“Membership Terms”) govern paid membership in Stratus Global Alliance, Inc. (“Stratus,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), including access to member-exclusive events and content, and the Stratusphere online member portal.
By purchasing or renewing a membership, you agree to these Membership Terms.
1. Membership Overview
Stratus is a membership-based professional alliance. Most engagement—including community participation, events, and resources—is reserved for members.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use this Website.
3. Member Portal/App
Members receive access to the Stratusphere, a private online portal that includes but is not limited to:
- Discussion groups
- Exclusive content and resources
- Event access and registration
Access to the Stratusphere is personal and non-transferable.
4. Member-Exclusive Events and Content
Most Stratus events, programming, and resources are limited to active members. Some events may have additional fees.
5. Payment, Renewal and Term
- Membership fees are payable in advance
- Memberships are non-refundable unless required by law
- Memberships expire at the end of the stated term unless renewed
6. Member Code of Conduct
Stratus Global Alliance is a professional, values-driven community built on trust, mutual respect, and meaningful engagement. By becoming a member, you agree to uphold the following standards of conduct across all Stratus spaces and events, both virtual and in person.
a. Professional and Respectful Behavior
Members are expected to:
- Treat all members, guests, speakers, and staff with respect and courtesy
- Engage in dialogue that is constructive, inclusive, and professional
- Honor differences in background, perspective, and experience
Harassment, discrimination, intimidation, or abusive behavior of any kind will not be tolerated.
b. Community Use and Participation
Stratus exists to foster connection, learning, and collaboration—not transactional exploitation.
Members agree to:
- Use the community in good faith
- Avoid excessive self-promotion, spam, or unsolicited sales outreach
- Respect the purpose and structure of Stratus events and platforms
Limited, relevant professional sharing is welcome when aligned with the spirit of the community.
c. Confidentiality and Discretion
Members may have access to sensitive discussions, personal stories, or professional insights.
Members agree to:
- Respect the confidentiality of conversations and materials shared within the community
- Not share member-only content outside Stratus without permission
- Use discretion when referencing Stratus discussions publicly
d. Intellectual Property and Content Sharing
Content shared within the Stratusphere or at member events may not be copied, distributed, or repurposed without proper authorization.
e. Digital Conduct
Members agree not to:
- Misuse the member portal or attempt unauthorized access
- Share login credentials
- Interfere with platform functionality or security
f. Enforcement and Consequences
Stratus reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to:
- Issue warnings
- Restrict access to certain features or events
- Suspend or terminate membership for violations of this Code of Conduct
Serious or repeated violations may result in termination without refund.
g. Alignment with Mission
Membership in Stratus is a privilege. Members are expected to engage in ways that support the organization’s mission, integrity, and community values.
h. Reporting Concerns
Members who experience or observe behavior that violates this Code of Conduct are encouraged to report concerns to help@stratusglobalalliance.com.
Stratus pledges to handle concerns discreetly and in good faith.
7. Use of Member Information
By joining, you acknowledge that limited professional information (like your name, role, and organization) may be visible to other members within the Stratusphere.
All data handling is governed by our Privacy Policy at www.stratusglobalalliance.org/privacy-policy.
8. Intellectual Property
Content shared within the Stratusphere is for member use only and may not be redistributed without permission.
9. Termination
Stratus may terminate membership for cause. Members may cancel renewal but will retain access through the end of the paid term.
10. Disclaimer
Membership benefits may evolve. Stratus does not guarantee specific outcomes, business opportunities, or results.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stratus shall not be liable for damages arising from participation in or with Stratus' community, events, or technology.
12. Governing Law
These Membership Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut.
